John Blas’s career in theatrical marketing and advertising spans over 25 years, beginning in 1994 at the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group as an art director in Creative Services. He left Disney in 2007 as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Creative Services for Disney & Pixar, having been a part of creating some of Disney’s most memorable animated marketing campaigns for such memorable films as Toy Story, Tarzan, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc., Cars, Ratatouille and Wall-e as well as live action films like The Rock, Nixon, Ransom, Mighty Joe Young, Armageddon and others.

 In 2007, John started NCS Creative, a creative advertising and marketing agency servicing the entertainment industry.  NCS Creative services a diverse client base including large and small studios as well as numerous independent filmmakers, content distributors, production companies and advertising agencies. Blas has since worked on advertising campaigns for such films as Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, The Lorax, Toy Story 3, Minions, The Social Network, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Contagion, Snow White and the Huntsman, Gone Girl, The Revenant, Hostiles as well as television and streaming franchises such as Two and a Half Men, House of Cards, The Knick, Mindhunter, Ozark, The Dr. Oz Show and many many more.

 His career to this point spans a vast range of experience in creative print, audiovisual and multimedia creative materials including posters, outdoor, online advertising, in-theater & POP, newspaper, trailers, TV commercials, 3D modeling and design, motion graphics, promos, interstitials as well as branding and identity. He has also garnered numerous Key Art, Mobius, Golden Trailer and other distinguished advertising awards and has been recognized by such revered publications as Graphis and Communication Arts for his work.
